- Upon registration, you will be added to a WhatsApp group where downloadable PDFs for each weekly session will be shared. I will also be available during designated hours to guide you and answer any questions you may have about your project through the group.
- Each session will be recorded, and a replay link will be shared the following day so you can watch it at your own pace. The recordings will remain available for one month.
What is this Zoom Class about?
Gain a deeper understanding of how to combine stitching techniques while exploring the vital role of color in hand embroidery.
In this course, we will explore the relationship between stitching techniques and color through the creation of six texture swatches. You will learn how to select the ideal combination of stitches to create rich and dimensional embroidered surfaces.
Techniques
This course explores advanced and intricate variations of fundamental hand embroidery stitches. From thread painting and padding to decorative borders and beading, you will master 13 techniques while discovering their dynamic relationship with color.
Requirements: Materials & Kits
You can either have a curated kit sent directly to you or provide your own materials. If you choose the second option, you will receive a detailed list of required items, including DMC embroidery mouline threads, fabric, an embroidery hoop, and a selection of needles.
Who is eligible for this course?
As this course focuses on delicate detail work and advanced variations of fundamental techniques, it is primarily recommended for those with some prior embroidery experience. However, I warmly welcome any beginners who are ready for a creative challenge; with dedication and patience, these techniques are absolutely achievable.
Technical Information
• Platform: Classes will be delivered via a Zoom Pro account, supporting high-quality 1080p (Full HD) streaming.
• Visuals & Audio: To ensure every stitch is visible, sessions are recorded using an iPhone camera for high-resolution detail, paired with a DJI wireless microphone for crystal-clear audio.
• Connectivity: The stream is supported by a stable high-speed fiber optic connection.
